They live all over BC and for that matter all over North America as well. Many other parts of the World also enjoy their presence , and have given them many different names according to what Country or part of the World they are living in.

They are large peaceful creatures. Curious about us and the things that we do. They don't seem to mean us any harm. If they did , there would be attacks taking place all the time, but that just isn't happening. They just seem to like to observe us, or study us.

I wonder if they actually learn anything from us ; probably more than we think !

Native Indian legend has referred to them as being a People. The more I get to know about Sasquatch, the more I tend to start believing this myself. The shape of their body is like us, just larger ; they walk and move like us ; they seem to have a language for communicating. People who have seen them up close say that the face is just like that of a human, only covered with hair. They seem to have an amazing intelligence.

A young girl said to me one time that maybe they are just a big hairy Caveman that didn’t get to be like the rest of us. Children will sometimes come up with an explanation for things that can get you to wondering.

One thing I do know is that it is hard to consider these things to be human but it is even harder to consider them to just be an ape, because they have very little in common with apes and a tremendous amount in common with Humans.

I investigated a site where I seen the tracks of a large adult and the tracks of a smaller adult, also present were the tracks of a baby Sasquatch. It's tracks were not even as long as my hand. I got to wondering if that little baby Sasquatch was like our own babies, loving and trusting and dependant upon us to teach it the things of life. It makes me wonder what kind of parents these Sasquatches are and what they teach their children about us. They sure must teach them very well on how to stay out of our sight, and out of our reach even though we do see them sometimes. I wonder what other things they teach their youngsters.. They must be teaching them that many of us will harm them out of ignorance about who they are or what they are. Maybe they are right to be afraid of us. Over the years what have we done to gain their trust or get to know them and learn to do them no harm.

There are many stories on the internet about people who have become annoyed or surprised or fearful of the presence of Bigfoot and shot at or actually shot them. Killing or wounding out of sheer stupidity, just because it is there to shoot at or maybe because it was stealing food from an outdoor freezer. Or, maybe just because someone wants to become famous for being the first person to bring in a dead body.

Some people believe that the only way that we will ever prove that these beings are real is to go out and shoot one. It is my understanding that some States in the USA have now made Laws that if you deliberately shoot and kill a Bigfoot you could be charged and jailed. It will then be up to you to prove that the species known as Bigfoot is not Human. Otherwise, off to jail you go, now to be known as a murderer.

The young girl who suggested to me that maybe they are just a caveman had actually seen one at close range, and others at a distance. She said that she doesn't know why, but she wasn’t even afraid.

Hello. I have been given the name "Patty". Get to Know Me, Care About Me, Help Protect Me and my family and other members of my race. I may not be the most beautiful lady on the planet, but I do have a warm friendly heart, and a very inquisitive spirit. Other Sasquatches just like me have children and raise families just like I do and just like you do. We love and care for each other and our children as you do yours and we teach them the things they need to know. My man is big and strong and a good provider. He might be eight or more feet tall and big with bulging muscles, but he won't hurt anybody. He just likes to know who is around and what they are doing. He's inquisitive like I am. We do things together and we watch out for each other. We talk amongst ourselves and a few of you have seen and heard us enjoying a good laugh. We do have a sense of humor and have enjoyed some fun filled communication with some of you. When you're out in the bush, listen carefully, we just might be around. If we are, you just might see us or hear our voices. We like to immitate animal sounds like owls or coyotes, sometimes whistle like birds. One way that we communicate is by banging a big stick or rock on a tree, or clack rocks together. If we do take anything that belongs to you we usually leave a trade item like a nice rock, a big pine cone or something like that. We have even left a mushroom for you sometimes.

Don't be afraid of me or any of us, and don't try to hurt me or any of my family. We just want to enjoy a good life without being threatened or harmed. When we see you out in the woods, we find you fascinating and like to watch you. We mean you no harm, we are just curious. We might even be willing to talk with you, if we can come to a friendly mutual trust of each other. In the mean time keep looking for me and I will keep watching for you. If we see each other give me a long friendly wave of your arm. If I see you, I will probably wave back. That's what friends do....

I have enjoyed more than 40 years as a very successful Big Game Hunter starting to hunt Deer, Bear and Moose, Cougar in about 1964.. . I have little use for city life and have always enjoyed being only a few minutes drive from the wilderness areas. I understand the things that live in the bush far better than I understand most people. At least when I come across an animal in the bush I know what to expect, and why it acts the way it does. I know that the animal will respond to me based on how I respond to it. I can not say the same about a lot of people that I have met.

We are still living in a Society that in some ways is based on stupidity and ignorance about the things that share this planet Earth with us. We seem to have this arrogance that there could no longer be anything living here that we don’t already know about. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Also we need to have a serious look at how Book Writers and Movie Producers have had a powerful impact on the way people think and how much they have programmed our thought processes.

It makes me very angry when I see the way Writers and Publishers can take a gentle and for the most part peaceful Being like Sasquatch and turn them into a horrible monster of the night, to be feared and destroyed. Then on the flip side they will take a family of Grizzly bears and portray them as gentle loving family members who have voices and talk and share emotions , and who we should love and cuddled when we see one.

These things simply are not true but Hollywood has done a good job of making the public actually believe these false impressions in the name of money. . As a result when some people have come into contact with Sasquatch / Bigfoot at close range they become terrified and run off never wanting to have another experience ever again for fear of being killed and ripped apart. And, on the other hand these same people have been conditioned by the entertainment industry to go out into the wilderness, see a family of bears and want to be up close enough to actually pet them. I have personally been out in a camp site, in 1979, where I saw a man trying to set his two year old child onto the back of a Black Bear while his wife walked along side trying to take a picture. When I tried to stop the guy, he told me to mind my own business.

This is exactly the kind of stupidity that Book Writers and Movies instill into peoples minds.

If there is a Sasquatch based movie put out, just look at the movie label and what do you see. Usually the face of a horrible terrifying monster. THIS SIMPLY IS TRASH AND NOT TO BE BELIEVED. These Writers and Movie Producers are getting rich at the expense of innocent Sasquatches. These people do not deserve to be getting wealthy by slanderously attacking the character of Sasquatch in the name of entertainment. I wonder how many Sasquatches have been shot at or outright shot and wounded by stupid people who have been mentally conditioned by the entertainment industry. In 2006 there was at least two incidences that I can remember where people were out in the bush camping and Sasquatch came around to see what they were up to. In one case the gentleman shot at Sasquatch several times to scare it away. In another story the person actually shot and wounded Sasquatch because he and his girlfriend were afraid of the Sasquatch. If these people would had been properly educated about Sasquatch these tradgeties probably would not have happened.

If you see a book or a movie that is depicting Sasquatch as a bad monster, don't buy it, and don't go to those movies. This stuff is trash and needs to be removed from the entertainment industry. Stop and think about it for a moment ; what kind of an example of Sasquatch is being portrayed in this trash as compared to the real Sasquatch. How would you feel if you never meant anyone any harm, if you were just a friendly inquisitive person, then the entertainment industry started putting out books and movies that made you look like a horrible monster that needs to be destroyed. People shoot at you and your family sometimes wounding one of them or maybe you yourself, maybe death occures from the wounds, and for no reason.. You wouldn't deserve that and neither does Sasquatch..

Sasquatch is a big hair covered bipedal that means no one any harm. They are very curious about what is going on when people are around. They like to observe us and will spend long periods of time watching us. If Sasquatch / Bigfoot were dangerous and meant us harm, people would be getting attacked all the time, and that just isn’t happening.

The public in general and especially our children, who will someday replace us, need to become properly educated about Sasquatch and other animals that live in the wilderness.

Large wild animals are dangerous and must be respected and observed from a distance. Bears are not cuddly critters to be played with ; Moose, Elk and ever Deer can become very dangerous if people get too close to them. Wild animals are not pets.

Sasquatch is not the ordinary run of the mill wild animal, and in fact could some day even become recognized as a sub species of human. We don’t know that yet. But, what we do know is that they most definitely are not horrible monsters in any way. We need to get to know them and not go out trying to harm them. We need to try to gain their trust and try to create communication with them, while at the same time allowing them their space..

This Lady lived in California. She was filmed by Roger Patterson with the assistance of Robert Gimlin in 1967 while she was walking along a Creek Bed.

These a real pictures of a real Female Sasquatch that was captured on 16-mm Film in 1967 by Roger Patterson and assisted by Robert Gimlin. A great deal of controversy has been going on for many years about the reality of the film, until lately.

There are some people who claim to have partaken in the creation of this film by being dressed up in a costume and walking down the creek bed while Roger filmed them. Then they have turned around and said that they lied. They did not do that. Then they turn around and say that they lied again, that they did do that. Then turn around again and again. Two different people have done this. They claim along with others that they know who made the suit and where the suit has ended up. When they are challenged to produce the suit, they say, well, they lied about that but they do know there was a suit. When challenged to identify the suit maker they back off and say they lied about that too. Then decide to say that they lied about lying that there really was a suit. When backed into the corner about more detail they say they lied about that. Then they change their mind again and again.

No suit has ever been produced and no person has ever been identified as the suit maker. The person who claimed to be the suit wearer finally came up with a Gorilla suit and said that this is what they wore. Examination of the suit showed it to be a very poor quality joke, looking absolutely nothing like the subject in the film.

Not long ago the original film was sent to more than one highly qualified specialists to be analysed. These people concluded that the film was unaltered and the subject in the film was real. The film was sent to some of the worlds best movie industry costume designers to find out if the subject in the film is real or a costume. The conclusion was definite. Even with today's technology, It would be impossible to produce such a real looking costume that would show body definition and muscle movement as is seen in the film. In 1967 the technology in costume design was much more limited, therefore, in 1967 it would be even more impossible to create such a costume. Conclusion;- Real Sasquatch and real untouched film.

Highly qualified experts have finally concluded without any doubt that the animal in the film is real. It is not a hoax of any kind. The Sasquatch in the film is a real live animal / Being. After all these years of contraversary I hope that Roger Paterson can finally rest easy in his grave. Roger passed away several years ago.

It has become obvious that these people who are making claims of a perpatrated hoax, simply wanted some media attention and wanted to become famous at the expense of Roger Paterson. Well they did succeed. They are now famous all over the world ; known as liers and opportunists.

In the newspaper articles below there are some things said that I did not actually say. I supposedly said that Sasquatch eats the bark of Aspen trees. That is not what I told the reporter. I said that it is suspected that the Sasquatch licks the sap from the spring time Aspen bark.

.These shelters are made from depris that is in close proximity to the shelter.

They are reminiscent of a blind that a duck hunter would make if he were in need of something to hide behind.

The following text is verbatim from the "Monday Morning Report for Aug. 15" submitted to headquarters by regional offices of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

The item's lead-in is "Sasquatches." "Northeast Region staff responded to a landowner's report of a sasquatch sighting in the Upper Grande Ronde River area.

"The landowner's chief concern was whether he would be in violation of any game laws if he shot Bigfoot. "As non-human primates, sasquatches are under the jurisdiction of the Oregon Department of Agriculture, not ODFW." So now you know who to call if you find one hiding behind that cabbage in the garden.

It didn't surprise me that the gist of the ODFW's official statement was to pass the buck, as it were, to another government agency. I wondered if the ODA was aware that Sasquatch was THEIR problem. So I called them. I called the ODA and spoke with a woman named Sue. I explained that this was likely the strangest phone call she woud received all day. <grin> I identified myself, quoted the article and asked if she was aware that the ODA was the responsible party when it came to Bigfoot sightings in Oregon. She was amused and interested, took down my contact information and promised to call me back after she'd "done some checking". She took down the Oregonbigfoot.com web address as well. I'll let you know what I find out.

I read the attached article and I have to tell you that the attitude of some people to shoot everything they see that is hair covered is outrageous. The response from the ODA is none the less the same.

I have been lead to understand that many states in the Union considering to it Law that anyone who deliberately shoots a Bigfoot will be charged with Manslaughter. Dosen't that say something.

I have heard Sasquatch with my own ears. What I have heard supports the lack of knowledge about them ; that being ; nobody has one to examine to make the decision as to whether they could in fact be an ape or a sub-species of human, and what my ears heard was human type of communication (Scarry thought isn't it ; at least for some people, but not scarry for those of us who understand.)..

I could say the same about what is on the High Sierra vocalizations within The Bigfoot Recordings narrated by Ron Morehead.. I have used my computer to slow down the speed of the vocalizations and then cleaned up the bass and static frequencies and what I heard there most people would not believe.

To say that Bigfoot is a non-human primate is nothing more than unfounded speculation by someone who is overly pompous about their own existance as a being. . What in heavens name makes these so called know it all's claim that Bigfoot is just an ape. Are people so pompous in our existance on this planet to actually believe that we could not have an identifiable sub-species of ourselves. After all we already know that we are the latest newcomers to live here.. Recent studies of the Hobbit People has now come to conclusions that they are (were) in fact a sub-species of human. Therefore sub-species of human really do exist. In view of that , has anyone considered that we could in fact be a sub-species ourselves ; the one that has progressed.. Because Hobbits are not actually called human in a singular explantion of the word, would it be OK to shoot one if you seen one, or would killing a Hobbit land you in jail for manslaughter. After all they were/are different from us. . They were only around 3 feet tall, but they were shaped like us, walked like us, reproduced like us, but they didn't look exactly like us.

Bigfoot is different from us. They are shapped like us, they walk like us, they probably reproduce like us, they seem to have actual language like us ; but they are different from us. They are taller and covered with hair.

In the 1400's and up into the late 1800's and actually even into the 1900's explorers into the deepest darkest jungles of Africa were coming across a little understood bush dwelling bipedal that was often shot by unscrupulous idiots with guns in their hands. These bipedals were often considered nothing more than animals. They were similar to us but they were mostly naked and backward, almost caveman in their existance. They couldn't be human because their skin is so black and they live like animals. Shooting one would often get you a pat on the back from your peers who were as mindless as the one who did the killing. But then again, some of those bad guys were taking these as slaves to tend to their needs. Some were even sent to places like North America to serve as slaves. I have no doubt that this very same attitude is still going on in some places even today.

Could there be any comparison at all as to how some people view the reality of Bigfoot today, within our own land. They are shaped like, walk like, and in some ways resemble us, but to go any further would be an outrageous thought in the minds of most people. I thought that researchers and Scientists were supposed to view things with an open mind as to the possibilities of the subject they study.

Ignorant people who talk about killing a Bigfoot had better think real seriously about the possible consiquences. What if in time the Sasquatch/Bigfoot of North America turns out to be ANOTHER sub-species of human ; one that did not die out as did the Hobbits.. Then anyone who has or would shoot one should have to face Criminal charges.

There are quite a few stories where someone has had the opportunity to kill a Sasquatch and become very famous. Clayton Mack was one such person. However, not one of them could pull the trigger because Sasquatch looked just like a big hairy human and they could not justify murdering one.

A man whom I know personally went through the very same thing right here in Prince George, and I am familiar with the place that he was hunting in at that time. He told me that he was close enough that when he looked at the Sasquatches face through his rifle scopy he could even see it's eyes and teeth and fingernails. He told me that was no animal, there is now way I could shoot it any more than I could shoot anyone else. I am not a murderer. Those things are not animals. I have had to assure him that I would never devulge his identity to anyone.

Also, I am aware that Native history in the Pacific North West refers to them as a PEOPLE not an ape. The Native People of the Pacific North West lived with Bigfoot for many centuries before we know it all white folks came here. Maybe the Native People know more than we like to admit when it comes to our giant hairy friend..

.This is an "X" marker that I found in an area that I have been hunting in for the last 25 years. Those logs forming the 'X' are full length trees 8 or so meters long ( 25-28 feet long).

When found this footprint was only hours or possibly just minutes old. Measures around 15 (+) inches in length. A tremendous amount of evedence has been found close to where we found this footprint

If you read My Personal Experiences in this website, you will find out just what brought me into this line of work. Once I had seen Sasquatch my life was somewhat haunted by the experience, but in a nice way, wondering about Sasquatch and my encounter with it.

When I heard them talking amongst themselves ; heard their voices ; noticed that they speak a language ; sounded like people just having a good time ; my life would never be the same again.

Like most people I felt very uncomfortable trying to tell anyone about my experiences with Sasquatch, but after having several experiences I could no longer hold back. I had to talk about these things and hoped that I could influence other people to open up as well.

I know that things will happen in our lives for specific reasons. Maybe the way my life kept bringing me into contact with Sasquatch was Someone’s way of directing me into a work that would help to educate people about Sasquatch / Bigfoot and maybe make a difference for our big hairy friend out in the forest.

There is something amazing about these Magnificent Beings that will captivate you.

If you have personal sightings and get to hear their voices ; knowing that they are somewhere close by will affect your life forever. . You will never be the same again.

There is something about our Big Hairy friend that will cause some people to want to get to know them, to study them and want to be near them, to learn from them, to befriend them, and experience their presence.

I feel very privileged to have enjoyed being in their presence and look forward to even a closer encounter again someday. I hope to be one of the first people to have one for a friend. In the mean time I hope to be able to carry on researching and learning about them so that I can help to educate people about them.
