The names Sasquatch  and  BigFoot are relative to the places where people live.  In the USA for instance "BigFoot" has become the common name.  In Canada the name Sasquatch has remained as the common name. "Sasquatch" is a name that has it's base in the Native Indian languages. The name Bigfoot came about less than a century ago as a nickname referring to the size of their footprints. While the name Sasquatch has long roots.  Therefore, as most Canadians do, I will refer to them as Sasquatch even though I do like the name BigFoot, after all, it is fitting.
